Wayne County & Town of Walworth Joint Collaboration To Assist with COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments

Published on March 18, 2021

The Town of Walworth is collaborating with Wayne County Public Health to help residents register for COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments. This collaboration is an attempt to reduce the digital divide that may be preventing some residents from securing COVID-19 vaccination appointments as many of our residents do not have computer and internet access or experience difficulty in completing the appointment process online.

According to Walworth Town Supervisor Susie C. Jacobs, "If you do not have internet services or a computer and you need assistance to electronically register, or you do not have transportation to get to a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic, please call the Walworth Town Offices for further assistance."

Senior citizens who do not have computer access or transportation are also encouraged to also call the Wayne County Office for Aging & Youth at (315) 946-5624.

Kenneth Miller, Chairman of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, expressed his pleasure in this collaboration between county and local government. "We are pleased to be able to assist in ensuring that equitable access to COVID 19 Vaccinations are available for all Wayne County residents."
