The Walworth Hometown Heroes program, in cooperation with the Walworth Historical Society and the Town of Walworth, was created in the spring of 2022 serving as a community effort to recognize the veterans of the Walworth community. The first year brought 27 banners which are proudly flanking the roadsides of the hamlets of Lincoln, Walworth and West Walworth.

Excitedly, the Walworth Hometown Heroes Committee is happy to announce that Phase 3 is open and applications are AVAILABLE TODAY!! The cost of banners is $175.00 and the banners will be displayed for two years from approximately Memorial Day through Veteran’s Day each season. Any Walworth resident who served honorably or is currently serving active duty in the United States Armed Forces, in the Reserves, or as part of the National Guard is eligible to be recognized with a beautiful banner displayed in our town.

These banners are sure to make a great gift for your family member, friend or neighbor!

The Phase 3 banner reservation period will be open until February 28, 2023.

Interested residents may pick up a paper application at the Walworth Town Clerk’s office or complete the form on-line by visiting https://form.jotform.com/hthwalworth/veteranbanner.
