While the seasons change, one thing that remains constant is our Town continues to bustle with activity. The Fall brings many unique opportunities to embrace and celebrate the season, not just here in Walworth, but in so many of our neighboring upstate communities as well. Whether supporting local markets, festivals, farm-stands, or small businesses, take some time over these next few months to enjoy all the season has to offer!

In the coming weeks Walworth will assist Ginna Nuclear Power Plant by hosting two HAB (Hostile-Action Based) Drills. The drills are a complex emergency preparedness exercise used to test how nuclear power plants, local law enforcement, and off-site agencies coordinate and respond to simulated security threats or armed attacks. You may notice a significant increase in law enforcement and security activity on site at the Town Hall & Lodge during these drills. Please don't be alarmed - all activity will be standard drill protocol. Walworth will facilitate HAB Drills on the following dates:
Tuesday, August 25th - State Evaluated Exercise
Tuesday, October 6th - FEMA Evaluated Exercise

Drills will take place in both the lower level parking lot at the Town Hall and the Lodge parking lot, and personnel will utilize the Main Meeting Room and Lodge interior space as well.
