As Day Camp wraps up, and we look to Fall, it always amazes us just how fast the summer goes by! It was another great year of camp. With all of our fantastic staff returning, campers enjoyed a summer full of fun making memories with friends old and new.
Summer Soccer Leagues are likewise reaching their conclusion, and we cannot thank our amazing volunteer coaches enough for all they do. To have to be at your most energetic and positive at the end of the day is never an easy ask, and our coaches not only went above and beyond as teachers of skill, but even more so as motivators and supporters of our players. We'd also like to thank Coach Chase for helping out our program again this summer. While only a soon-to-be Sophomore, Chase has a knack for teaching and engaging with the kids, and is such a vital addition to our program (and the kids absolutely adore him!).
We've had many inquiries regarding Fall Swim Lessons in recent weeks and we're happy to partner with the Gananda Aquatics Department for another Fall Session this coming season. Lessons, especially at the lower level, fill quickly. Be sure to register early! Lesson times, dates, and skill descriptions can be found on pages 24 & 25.
The Fall brings some of our favorite community events, especially the annual Harvest Moon Festival & Pumpkin Walk. If your business or organization would be interested in sponsoring a Pumpkin Walk trick-or-treat station, and passing out treats to our festival-goers, please contact the department for sponsorship information. It's a great way to give back and get involved with the community (and promote your business or organization at the same time!)
