As the holiday season wraps up, we hope you all enjoyed time with family and friends these past few weeks. While we enjoyed the holidays - we're certainly ready to say goodbye to the cold weather and get springtime here as soon as possible.

By this point Nadine, my Deputy Town Clerk, and I have enjoyed the pleasure of meeting so many of our wonderful residents. If we still have yet to meet you, please stop by and and say hello to us any time!

Things have been busy in the Town Clerk office! We're officially in our second year serving as Receiver of Taxes. We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate this newer role. Taxes may be paid at the Walworth Town Hall Monday-Friday during the hours of 8:30am-3:00pm. Should those hours not work for you, there is also a secure drop box in the Town Hall Lobby near the Assessment Department window.

Please remember to register your dogs with the Town Clerk’s office. With nice weather in the not so distant future, we anticipate many residents will look to utilize the convenience of the Dog Park at Sherburne Park. To gain access to the Dog Park all persons need proof of their dog holding a current registered license within their township. As you stop by the Recreation Department to register for the Dog Park, plan on seeing us first to complete your dog license (or update it for the new year). We are a dog friendly building so when you come to register your dogs, please bring them in for us to meet - we may even have treats for them! If you have questions or concerns regarding a dog license, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Please note - If you wish to make an appointment for a marriage license between the months of January and March we will not schedule appointments after 3:00pm. With these months being especially busy for our office we must ensure appropriate time to complete required end of day tasks and reports. We appreciate everyone's understanding as we manage a very active start to the new year.

To save time when meeting with us, or for your own convenience, important documents and forms can be found on the Town Clerk’s web page on Town of Walworth’s website (townofwalworthny.gov). Many can also be filled out electronically from your own device or computer!
