As a busy start to the year moves towards Spring, we look forward to the many activities and opportunities that usher in the warmer weather! Our parks, athletic fields, trails, and outdoor communal spaces will be bustling with activity soon enough!
The Dog Park at Sherburne Park re-opens April 1st. A reminder - all dogs MUST be registered to receive a pass-code to enjoy the space. Please note that registrations do not carry over year to year. Dogs must be registered each season to ensure all licenses and required shots are up to date. You can register your pooch anytime 8am-4pm at the Recreation Offices.
Plan your summer early by registering for Summer Camp! Camp registration kicks off Thursday, February 6th. This year we're in the process of improving the camp experience for our campers - with everything from new daily activities and routines to an expanded camp staff. This summer will no doubt be the best yet!
Facility reservations for the Lodge in Ginegaw Park are quickly filling! If you're looking to hold an event or gathering at the Lodge, we encourage you to call as soon as possible to inquire about remaining available dates. Rental and facility information, forms, and more can be found on the facility page on our town website: townofwalworthny.gov-facilites.
As the baseball/softball season nears, a reminder that when you register early for leagues it assists us greatly in planning and preparing. We're also always looking for great coaching help. We hope you'd consider working with a small group of young players on the diamonds this Spring!
